Such veneers are particularly sought after in classical furniture production. Its outer wood is yellow and gray. The heartwood ranges from light milky brown to dark brown. Walnut timber is medium hard and with firm fibers. It is one of the heavy trees. The quality of connecting with nails, screws and glue is sufficient. It has good resistance to physical effects. It works hard and pulls a lot. It is split easily. It is durable only in dry conditions. It is processed easily and comfortably. The specific weight of the walnut in the air-dried lah is approximately 0.65 gr / cm 3. It is a furniture tree of superior quality and esthetically valuable. Interior architecture is highly sought after. It is used as a massive v coating. It gives successful results in carved and turned works. It can be used for musical instrument and model making. It is sold in solid veneer. Its massif is sometimes in the form of hardwood standard but mostly in the form of plank.
