As WoodLand, we produce all our wooden outdoor furniture from Iroko wood. Iroko, which is resistant to natural conditions such as water, moisture and sun, is a type of tree that is especially preferred in outdoor furniture, which is also used in parquet, boats, yachts, ships and decks. Similar to the teak tree grown in the Asian rainforest, the Iroko tree is a variety of the same species that grows in the African rainforest. Its origin is based on the Ivory coast. Trees up to 130 meters in height provide a sustainable production opportunity without disturbing the natural balance due to their very rapid growth. Wood, which has a yellowish color after being processed, turns brown in 1 month when it comes into contact with oxygen. The striking veins in a lighter tone compared to the brown tones of the timber create a stylish appearance. Iroko wood is indispensable for durable furniture due to its heavy, hard, oily and high density structure. The long-lived iroko tree is highly resistant to natural decay, insects and diseases. It dries easily and there is no deformation after processing.
